About Haus of Wildfire
Basically, Haus of Wildfire is me, Jordan! I've been in the beauty industry since 2014.
I actually fell into a full beauty diploma by accident. I was working full-time as a service manager for Woolworths when I signed up for what I thought was just a diploma of makeup - whoops! I'm so glad I did though! Funny how things work out.
In 2015, I took a leap of faith, dropping down to casual at Woolies and launching into the lash and brows industry with Sheree and the girls at Lash'd Doll House (now LashHQ).
Five years on, the rise of COVID-19 had swept through the world and hit the beauty industry hard. I thought, what better time to start my own business? Life's too short, and I was itching for a change! I went back to Woolies as a casual as a backup plan and started planning my next move!
And so, in May 2020, Wildfire Artistry was born!
Wildfire Artistry was on Russell Street for just over 4 years. It saw a team of 3 girls at one point, specializing in lash extensions and brows. Russell Street underwent a big renovation in 2021 and was home to many beautiful clients. I quickly realized that the boss life wasn't for me, and I just wanted to work solo. I decided in December 2023 to niche right down and solely focus on brows and tattooing.
I had been wanting a change and a new space for about 3 years before I actually did it. Russell Street never felt like home; I always knew there was something bigger and better out there for me.
In January 2024, I set myself some pretty big goals; a new space and name were on the cards.
In May 2024, I signed the lease to Duggan Street, and the renovations began! Finally, a chance to create the space I'd always dreamed about! Sleepless nights, blood, sweat, and a lot of tears went into this new space. With the help of my family and very close friends, the build began!
In June 2024, Wildfire Artistry underwent a complete rebrand, name change, and salon move.
I wanted to create a space that's more than just a brow salon. I aimed for a place that feels cozy, warm, and creative, but above all, safe. A spot where my clients can be themselves, talk about anything they need to. I've had my own sense of safety taken from me unfairly, but through personal growth, I got it back. That experience made me realize I had to incorporate safety into my branding and blend a safe space with a brow salon.
And so, HAUS OF WILDFIRE was born.
